The Lions under-14 program has been a great success this year, with Harry Coyne and Mark Sutton having done great work in developing over 25 players in this age-group
Lions under-10’s also had a great game with Moycullen on Saturday which finished honours even. Santa took some time out from his busy schedule to visit after the game and was a big hit with all the Lions and visiting u10's from Moycullen.
This state of the art facility is fantastic modern Gym that will serve us well in the coming years.

U10's Blitz 2010
Limerick Lions hosted a hugely successful under-10 blitz in St Clements college last Sunday.
The event was attended by teams from St Brendans Tralee, Killorglin, Claregalway and New Inn as well as the best of Lions young talent. The great work that under-10 coaches Trevor Moore, Brendan Kelly, Nigel Briganti and Colm Deegan have done all year was on display for all to see.

u14s in Play Offs and All Ireland Finals
Lions under-14’s travelled to Killarney on Sunday evening to take on St Pauls in the final regular-season Kerry-league game for this season.
Harry Coyne’s boys claimed a 13-point victory thanks in main to 20-point hauls from both Diarmuid O’Shea and Luke Ryan. Shane McNamara, Cian Collins and Ian Coates also impressed. It has been a very satisfactory campaign in the Kerry league division-1 for the young Lions with a 7 and 5 record...
Seniors in Fine Form
Lions seniors kept their winning run going with a fine victory over St Pauls in the Kerry League. Lions under-18 coach Diarmuid O’Donovan was the star of this game with an awesome 39 points.
Patrice Desamais was also in fine form, winning countless rebounds on both defence and offence. There were fine displays also from Cian McDonnell at point, Mark Sutton and new-comer Enda Merrinan.
u18's Master Class against the Lakers
Lions U18's put in a master class this afternoon beating arch rivals Lakers in a dramatic game.

u14 Reds - Dominate Local Rivals Lakers on the Double
Lions u14's took on local rivals, Lakers in a home match in the Kerry League on Friday night. After a slow start in which the Lions were miles off the pace, they recovered and in the second half, aided by Luke Ryans 26 points, beat the Lakers comfortably in the end.
Harry Coyne was understandably frustrated by the Lions opening period, where they were missing easy chances, failed to finish off layups and played some poor defense.

On Saturday Lions under 12’s had a fine win over Celtics B in the North Munster league.
There was some lovely passing and shooting displayed by the Lions boys in this game. Some neat baskets were scored by Colm Moran, Shane Flanagan, Rory McNamara, Jack Coyne, Jazz Penedejito, Cameron Di Benedetto, Aaron McNamara and Sean O’ Brien, and there was great defence played by Paul Clancy, Christian Ryan and Barry Kelleher.

5 out of 6 with the U18's in Master Class!
It was a fantastic week for Limerick Lions with the club winning 5 out of 6 games played at various age-levels. Pride of place goes to the under-18s with an 8 point win over local rivals Limerick Lakers in the North Munster league.
