Limerick Lions Entertain the Tigers.
Limerick Lions host Tralee Tigers in the UL Sports Arena, Limerick on Saturday 24th Feb with a 7.30pm start.

Tralee have already won the national cup this year and will be looking to qualify for the league finals, and a win in Limerick will be important for them. For Limerick, its a case of building on last week’s fine performance against Belfast Star, as they attempt to get another win against Tralee.

Limerick have set themselves a target of playing with high intensity and it worked well against Star. Coach for Limerick Matt Hall says “We played a high intensity game against Star especially in defence and this was the foundation for the win. I will be pushing the lads hard at training this week with the objective of getting them to repeat the intensity levels and push Tralee hard for the entire game. Of course Tralee are a fine side and we will need to have everything with us to get a result on Saturday night”.

The game promises to be a tight affair as already this season Tralee have beaten Limerick on two occasions with literally the last shot of the game, once in Tralee, and once in Limerick. The Lions will be hoping to have another close finish but that this time they can have the last shot and get a home win.

A good crowd is expected at UL where the game tips off at 7.30pm in the Sports Arena.
