Limerick Lose to top shooting Demons. Limerick Lions lost their last home game of the season to a top shooting UCC Demons who posted 130 to Limerick’s 94 in this game at the UL Sports Arena. From the off Demons set out their intent and ran up 37 in each of the first 2 quarters to leave the half time score at 74 to 55 in favour of the Cork lads. In the second half the game had some excellent shooting from both teams, but Demons were never threatened, and eased out to their win. Demons had strong performances across their bench with Sheffield on 39 points and Niall Murhpy hitting 25. Limerick were short some starting players to the Inter Varsities (being held in Cork)  but played with honesty throughout and had Jennings on 33 and Powell on 21.
