Limerick Lions go back on the road this weekend coming, 27th Oct 2007, with a trip to Tralee Tigers. The game is on Saturday night in the Tralee Sports Complex and promises to be another close game of basketball in what’s already proving to be a season of very close games.
Limerick lost to Demons at the death last Sunday 21st Oct in UL and will want to play as well again, and if they are ahead in the game, to hold the lead to the final buzzer. Tralee are very difficult to beat anywhere but especially at home in Tralee and Limerick will need to be at their competitive best to get anything from the trip down to Kerry. Limerick’s coach Matt Hall was very disappointed with the result of the game with Demons, but said “We probably should have won last week but we didn’t. What I want is for players to learn from these games and build up their game experience particularly in those last few minutes of the 4th quarter when so many games are decided. Looking to this weekend, Tralee will be very tough but we are training hard all week and are keen to get on court and play a hard, tough game, and we’ll see how it goes”. |
