UL Sports Arena:   Sat 1st Dec 2007  7.30pm

Limerick Lions will be working hard to establish a ‘settled’ team ahead of the clash with Kilarney at the UL Sports arena on Sat 1st Dec at 7.30pm.

Limerick were disappointed by the move by Justen Naughten to Spain last week which left Limerick traveling to Dublin to play Hoops with one American player. Limerick put in a great performance in Dublin and were only caught coming down the stretch by a superb shooting performance from Ian O’Boyle.

Limerick will be aiming to have a replacement American ready to play against Killarney, and coach Matt Hall is spending the week preparing his charges for the game and planning to build on the positives from the Hoops game.

Coach Hall said “We played quite well against Hoops, and only got caught at the death. We played well for long stretches of the game and I was pleased with our attitude. However we didn’t get the win and we will have to improve even further to be in with a shout against Kilarney. They are a big side and in recent years we have struggled against them, so on Saturday I will be looking for a big game from everyone. With this we can be competitive and push hard for the home win.”

The game is in the UL Sports Arena with a 7.30pm start on Sat 1st Dec.
