Limerick Lions travel to Killarney. 09/Feb/08

Limerick Lions men’s basketball travel to Killarney to take on Mustang St Paul’s in the Nivea for men Super league. Limerick have not had a consistent run in the league this season, and came off second best last weekend against a very strong Killester team. Coach Matt Hall says "When we played Killarney in the first part of the season we just didn’t turn up to play. Since Christmas we have been playing better basketball, yet at times our team game falls away and we allow the game to be lost, and that is not our strength. Killarney are a strong physical team and unless we defend and get stuck in we won’t have a chance. I am telling the players  all week that we must get in it from the start and then work hard to stay in it until the last few minutes. That way we have a chance of getting a result." Limerick are away the following weekend to UUJ up in Belfast, and have a reverse fixture with Killarney on Sun 24th Feb at home in UL, at 3.30pm.
