Limerick Lions have two home games this weekend at the UL Sports Arena starting on Saturday night 1st March next. At 7.30 that evening UCD Marion are the visitors and the following day, Sunday 2nd March, Tralee Tigers come to Limerick for a 3.30pm game.
This will be a very competitive double header for Limerick and they will be looking to do well in both games.
Limerick’s coach Matt Hall says "We have had a frustrating season where we are losing games in the last minute or so. The team is playing well for long stretches in games yet at vital times such as coming down that last minute stretch we are making mistakes that is costing us the game. The contribution of the players has been steady all year and I am pleased with the development of our key Irish players. Limerick are looking to the future and building for this yet we need to win games this year as well. This weekend we need to learn from recent games where basic finishing of lay-ups left us too much to do in the games’ final minutes. We must improve our concentration and execution and if we do we can win more games."
