Limerick Lions basketball club are recently took part in a new RTE TV quiz show called TOAST. The show on RTE is a new show for the autumn 2008 and is being broadcast on television on Sunday mornings.

Limerick’s young lions appeared on TV on Sunday 28th September 2008 and used their smarts and phsyical abaility to win this weeks 3 part quiz. It also comes just 2 weeks ahead of the first home game for Limerick Lions in the men’s Superleague on 11th October at 7.30pm in UL Sports Arena.

The Limerick Lions Team members are : Shane McNamara, John Shiels & Luke Ryan. The Limerick audience members are: Sam Halpin (as Larry the Lion), Aharon Kealy, Cian Lane, Aaron Madden, Luke Cunningham, David Curtis, Jane Shiels, Denis Shiels, Sophie Shiels, Mark Shiels, Christian Ryan, Brendan Ryan.

The show aired at 10.00 am on Sunday 28th Sept on RTE 2.
