Lions Basketball goes from Strength to Strength

It was another great weekend for Lions juvenile teams. Lions under-12s had a big win over St Bridgets in the quarter-final of the Kerry plate. Lions u14 A-team dug deep to win a tricky away match to New Inn in the North Munster league.

Lions u14 B-team also took on New Inn and were strong in the first quarter,  Though New Inn came out winners in the end, this was the best performance of the season by the B-team and coach Mark Sutton can be very pleased with his teams improvement.

Next weekend is another very busy one with Lions under-12s travelling to Abbeyfeale for a Kerry league game v St Josephs on Saturday and Lion’s under-12’s, 14’s and 16’s travelling to Tralee to play St Brendans in the Kerry League on Sunday. Lions Senior's host team Marius in the Limerick senior league on Wednesday night.
