Our Limerick Lions U18 boys were in action today at the U18 Billy Coffey National Cup Qualifying Tournament in Portlaoise \u2014 and what a day it was!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boys opened their campaign with a strong performance against Kildare Gliders, starting fast and securing their first win of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a very short turnaround, they faced UCD Marian in Game 2. Despite a slower start, the team quickly found their rhythm and pulled away for a comfortable victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following a well-deserved rest, the Lions met Boyne Warriors in their final group game. With top spot in the group on the line, the boys produced a superb all-round team performance, showcasing their depth and composure to claim another convincing win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With three wins from three, the Lions top their group and advance as a top seed to Sunday\u2019s semi-final where they\u2019ll face a very strong St. Mary\u2019s from Castleisland side at 11:30am in Portlaoise.
A win will see them book a place in the National Cup Quarter Finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
